OUR POLICIES

EQUALITIES, DIVERSITY
& INCLUSION

Dance Horizons is committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment for all artists, audiences, and collaborators. We actively champion diversity across our programming, ensuring representation from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.

Accessibility is embedded within our work. We provide inclusive application processes, alternative submission formats, and accessible event delivery, including BSL interpretation and clear communication. We carefully select venues that meet high accessibility standards and ensure appropriate safeguarding and evacuation procedures are in place.

We are committed to fair pay and ethical working practices. All artists and contributors are paid at or above industry standards, including rates set by Equity, ensuring opportunities are accessible regardless of financial background.

Our team receives ongoing EDI training to support inclusive practice and continuous development.

Above all, we strive to create a space where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to fully participate.

GOING GREEN

Dance Horizons recognises that we have a responsibility to the environment far above and beyond legal and regulatory requirements. As an organisation, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods. We will encourage our customers, suppliers and other partner organisations to do the same.
